Rockfon, part of ROCKWOOL Group, is pleased to launch the updated Rockfon Canva® Wall panel – the customisable acoustic wall solution first launched in 2021 in collaboration with the Copenhagen acoustic design company AKUART. The 2025 refresh introduces recycled materials, expanded modular options, 8 all-new frame finishes, and a slimmer build.

Part of the Rockfon Canva family, Rockfon Canva Wall panel pairs the Class A performance of a signature sound-absorbing stone wool core along with a sleek metal frame and a detachable, changeable, and washable canvas. The canvas is customisable with any colour, high-resolution wall art, branding, or wayfinding signage. Versatile in application, it is equally at home in offices, reception areas, restaurants, hotels, residences, and other spaces.

Key updates of Rockfon Canva Wall panel include:

  • Lower-impact materials: A 100% recycled polyester canvas and a 75% recycled aluminium frame replace the components in the earlier version, reducing the product carbon footprint. The changes are reflected in the new edition of the product's Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
  • Modular possibilities: The update expands its modularity to allow for wall-to-ceiling layouts and dramatic large-scale wall features. In addition to the option of installing a single piece in standard sizes, Rockfon Canva Wall panel can now be custom-configured in dramatic oversize dimensions up to 13 × 3 metres, colourful bespoke puzzle arrangements, or full wall panelling – without limits to the total height or length of the layouts.
  • A slimmer build: The panel thickness has been slimmed and is now 50mm for a polished floating look, enhanced with rounded zinc corners that lend the frame an elegant profile and cast a shadow-lined effect. The refinement lowers total panel weight, simplifying the installation process further and moderately cutting transport impact.
  • All-new finishes: Previously offered in white or black, the new recycled aluminium frame is now available in 8 additional matte powdercoat finishes from the Colours of Wellbeing palette: Stone, Gravel, Concrete, Mustard, Coral, Earth, Storm, and Eucalyptus.
The challenge was to shrink the footprint while offering even more design freedom. This update developed with AKUART once again confirms that innovation can advance performance and sustainability at the same time.
